During the reception, Professor Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasizing its internationalization strategy and strengthening international relations. The university has established cooperative relationships with over 400 partners, including Korean universities such as Seoul National University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Busan University of Foreign Studies, and Hanyang University. The Korean Studies program is one of the most popular among students. Based on the memorandum of understanding signed remotely by the leaders of both sides on June 8, 2018, the university hopes to promote practical cooperation with Woosuk University.
In response, Dr. Chang Young-Dal, on behalf of Woosuk University, expressed a desire to implement joint training programs with Vietnam based on models such as 2+2 and 1+3. The two universities could focus on areas of mutual interest such as media photography, advertising and communication, and psychology. Additionally, they could cooperate in Korean and Vietnamese language training for students from each country.

Rector Pham Quang Minh shared that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Woosuk University share a strong interest in internationalization, including the need to attract more international students. He also expressed agreement with Dr. Chang Young-Dal's proposals. In the coming time, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University will be the focal point for implementing specific collaborations with the Korean side.

Established in 1979 in Jeollabuk-do, Woosuk University currently offers a wide range of majors and focuses on developing five specialized fields: Public Health & Welfare, Oriental Medicine, Sports & Health, Culture and Tourism, and Welfare and Safety. Woosuk University's educational system comprises eight colleges, 57 departments, and three graduate schools.
