On the morning of March 28th, a seminar on the topic "Methods of Building and Developing Stories in Television Works" was held at the Television Studio on the 5th floor of Building H, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The program was organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The talk was held in an informal atmosphere with the participation of speaker Sonya Jampolsky; journalist Ta Bich Loan, Head of the Broadcasting and Television Department - Faculty of Journalism and Communication, along with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication.

Overview of the seminar

Sonya Jampolsky is a journalist for CBC Canada and Vice President of Ocean Entertainment. She has 10 years of experience as a screenwriter, director, and producer of films and television programs. She has designed programs for numerous television channels including CBC, CTV, Life Network, Discovery Health, and others. In addition, Sonya teaches film at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (Canada).

With the theme "Methods of Building and Developing Stories in Television Productions," this workshop helps students understand how to effectively organize and construct stories in television productions. Through practical examples, speaker Sonya discussed with students how to select and use details in television. They also discussed the role of television in the modern media landscape.

The seminar provided an opportunity for students to listen to shared skills and practical experiences in organizing and producing television programs. This activity also contributed to connecting the Faculty's training activities with foreign experts in the field of television, aiming to improve the quality and effectiveness of training and provide students with an effective learning environment.
