The International Studies Open Badminton Tournament is a useful and practical activity that not only improves health, strengthens physical strength, contributes to building a positive sports competition movement in the school as well as in the International Studies Department, but also creates an environment for exchange, learning, bonding, and improving the sports skills of staff and students in the school.
The opening ceremony was attended by MSc. Nguyen Van Dap, Secretary of the International Studies Faculty Union, representatives of the organizing committee, the referee team, the contestants and a large number of supporters.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, the representative of the tournament's Organizing Committee hoped that there would be many exciting and thrilling matches, giving the audience beautiful performances and hoped that all teams and contestants participating in the tournament would develop all their existing qualities, compete enthusiastically, determined to achieve the highest results, affirming their true abilities in solidarity, health, honesty and safe competition.

After the opening ceremony, the contestants will continue with the group stage and quarter-final matches to select the best contestants to compete in the semi-finals. The semi-finals and finals will be held at the Government Cipher Committee badminton court on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
The Opening Ceremony of the 1st International Badminton Open Tournament 2017 was a great success, this is one of the important premises to organize the tournament for the following years to be successful and attract more participants. This activity will become a healthy and useful playground for all staff and students in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
