
The International Studies Open Badminton Tournament is a beneficial and practical activity that not only improves health and physical fitness, contributing to building a positive sports competition movement in the school and in the International Studies Faculty, but also creates an environment for exchange, learning, bonding, and honing the sports skills of staff and students in the school.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Dap, Secretary of the International Studies Faculty's Student Union, representatives of the organizing committee, the judging panel, the contestants, and a large number of supporters.
In his opening remarks, the organizing committee representative expressed hope for many exciting and captivating matches, offering spectators beautiful displays of skill. He also hoped that all participating teams and contestants would showcase their inherent qualities, compete enthusiastically, and strive for the highest possible results, demonstrating their true abilities in a spirit of unity, good health, honesty, and safe competition.

Women's Singles Competition
Following the opening ceremony, the contestants continued with the group stage and quarter-final matches to select the best contestants for the semi-finals. The semi-finals and finals will be held at the Government Cryptography Department's badminton court on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
The opening ceremony of the 1st International Badminton Open Tournament in 2017 was a great success. This is an important foundation for organizing the tournament successfully in the following years and attracting more participants. This activity will become a healthy and beneficial playground for all staff and students in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
