At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the history of development, training scale and international relations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University is a prestigious institution in training and research in Social Sciences and Humanities. The University currently has official cooperative relations with many universities in Thailand such as Chukalongkon, Mahidol, Thamasat, Chiang Mai, Bangsomdejchaopraya Rajabhat, Ubon Rajathanee.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekkawit Maneethorn expressed his joy at being warmly welcomed by the Principal and representatives of the departments and offices of the University. On behalf of Burapha University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekkawit Maneethorn hopes to establish and develop cooperation with the University through specific activities in the coming time.
The leaders of both sides then signed an official memorandum of cooperation. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Burapha University pledged to promote the exchange of documents, publications and academic information; promote and implement joint academic programs; support distance learning courses; organize joint research programs; exchange students; exchange lecturers; develop study programs in areas of mutual interest; cooperate in other academic and research fields. The memorandum of cooperation is valid for 5 years from the date of signing.

Established in 1955, Burapha University is a university in Bangsaen Town, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Burapha has more than 50 academic programs, including 30 master's programs, one Ed. D. program, and three Ph. D. programs. Burapha and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are both members of the ASEAN University Network.
