When choosing a major for her university entrance exams, like many of her peers, Thu Trang wasn't entirely sure about her direction. After consulting with family and carefully considering her options, Trang decided to study Social Work, a new major in the Faculty of Sociology, because it suited her personality and aptitudes. And after nearly 20 years, this remains a correct and wise decision. Thu Trang is currently a lecturer in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

As a former student of the 45th cohort of the Linguistics program, after 17 years, Dr. Tran Lan has become a renowned Vietnamese language lecturer at Kaohsiung University (Taiwan). In 2020, for her outstanding contributions to the development of Vietnamese language teaching in Taiwan, she was honored to be granted Taiwanese citizenship under the expert program. She shared: "I love my current job because it allows me to contribute to spreading the beauty and richness of the Vietnamese language and national culture to international friends. And I am even more proud that this job has given me the opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate with my professors in the Linguistics Department – ​​the place that helped me grow and achieve what I have today."

Thanks to his excellent academic achievements, he became a lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Having held various positions, including Deputy Director of the Center for Quality Assurance in Education, Deputy Head of the Science and Technology Department of VNU, he is currently the Director of the Institute for Quality Assurance in Education, under VNU.

As a former student of the K37 class of the former Department of Ethnology and now the Faculty of Anthropology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, with her strong research capabilities and foreign language skills, received a Master's scholarship in Anthropology in the Netherlands and a PhD in Anthropology in Australia, precisely during the period when Vietnamese Ethnology was shifting its development towards Anthropology. For a woman, the relentless pursuit of learning and the arduous journey of conducting ethnographic fieldwork to become a true anthropologist was no easy feat. However, these difficulties were compensated by the happiness of a richer spiritual life thanks to scientific knowledge; and her dedication to sharing deeper understanding and contributing more knowledge about rural Vietnamese society is gradually being realized. From an administrative perspective, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh also served as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Ethnology and is currently the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Ethnology (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences).

Having been admitted to the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the highest score in History in the school, Nghia was ranked among the top students in the Faculty from his first year and was selected to attend a Japanese language training course organized by the Japanese Government. Seven years after graduating, Nghia founded Vietfoot Travel - a company specializing in providing high-end tourism products and with a fairly solid financial foundation. Currently, despite facing many difficulties due to the pandemic, he always believes that this is just a pause for the tourism industry in general, and Vietfoot in particular, to take further steps forward.
