Highlights of the 2024 Green Summer Campaign

And so, the volunteer journey of the 2024 Green Summer Campaign of the Student Volunteer Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, has come to an end!
Although the seven-day period (from July 12th to 19th, 2024) wasn't long, it left many memories of Hong Thai (Na Hang, Tuyen Quang) – a beautiful and majestic land; with enthusiastic and kind people; and unforgettable moments of planting rice, harvesting corn, teaching English, participating in summer activities, and sharing meals and sleep with 23 young people from Hanoi's Faculty of Humanities.
That journey has left its mark:
- Completion of youth projects: Humanities Bookcase; the "Purple Ban Garden" youth project and the scholarship fund for Hong Thai Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School;
- Donated 25 gifts to primary school students and 20 gifts to secondary school students at the school site;
- Presented 6 gift packages to families entitled to preferential policies;
- Presenting a set of "Basic English Communication Materials for Tourism" to tourism households, homestays in the area, and representatives of the Hong Thai Commune People's Committee.
The 2024 Green Summer campaign is proud and happy to have contributed a small part to making the lives of the people in Hong Thai commune better, with small but heartfelt actions from the team.
