During her high school years, My Hanh was a shy and self-conscious girl, always afraid to participate in group activities. Although she enjoyed volunteer activities and clubs, invisible fears hindered the young girl, making Hanh's life seem to revolve around studying and going home. When entering university, Hanh decided to get rid of those fears and join the Student Social Work Team. After nearly four years, the female student realized that participating in extracurricular activities not only helps develop life skills but also creates opportunities to connect with the community. The saying "The meaning of life is: Dare to act" has become a great source of motivation for Hanh, affirming that action is the bridge between dreams and reality, helping her and her team spread good values to society.
As a girl who always wants to contribute to the community, Hanh actively participates in and builds many meaningful volunteer programs. In Hanoi, she has participated in outstanding projects such as: the program "Bright Stars" at Quynh Hoa Charity Vocational Training Center, volunteered at Dien Hong Nursing Center, and was a member of the organizing committee of the program "Pink Safety" at Nam Trung Yen Secondary School.
In addition, Hanh also volunteered to go to difficult areas to help local people. Typical trips include: Bac Kan with the Winter Warmth 2022 campaign - "Winter Warmth Spring Lac, Fire Pink Give Me," Son La in the Summer Volunteer Campaign 2024 - "Hoa Nang Ban Mai," and Thanh Hoa with the Winter Warmth 2023 campaign - Spring Volunteer 2024 "Source of Love." In addition, Hanh also participated in many other meaningful volunteer trips, spreading the spirit of sharing and love to distant lands.
Bringing passion for social activities into the journey to conquer new landsHanh modestly shared that, compared to many other young people, she still lacks a lot of experience, but for the female student, volunteer trips have opened up a whole new world. The majestic beauty of her homeland's nature always leaves a deep impression on her, captured through beautiful photos of the vast mountains and forests. When setting foot in remote areas where ethnic minorities live, Hanh not only participates in the daily activities of the people but also explores many unique customs and festivals.

Memories such as the bitter bamboo soup from her teacher at Pu Lung school or the Solidarity dances around the campfire helped Hanh better understand the community spirit, hospitality, and respect for the traditional culture of the people here. Those experiences not only broadened her understanding of the local culture but also motivated her to continue volunteering and contributing to the community.
With the desire to help those in difficult circumstances and bring joy to children, the enthusiastic young girl in her twenties has found the true value of life through these meaningful activities. The female student shared that she was inspired by the image of the engineer in the short story "Quiet Sa Pa" by writer Nguyen Thanh Long: "She is a young woman who swears that after graduating, she can go anywhere, do anything, receive any salary and any reception, and she will feel light-hearted."
The trip to Warm Winter Spring in Bac Kan is an extremely memorable memory for Hanh.
During her travels across the lands, My Hanh was particularly impressed with the 2024 Summer Volunteer Campaign - Hoa Nang Ban Mai, which aims to raise 100 million VND to build classrooms for the "Strength 2000" Project. She is very grateful to the team leader for daring to lead the financially self-sufficient student team to overcome this challenge. During the implementation process, the team carried out many small programs to raise funds, creating valuable memories and lessons. Hanh also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung, Leader of Strength 2000, who shared a lot of useful knowledge. Although she could not attend the project acceptance day, Hanh represented the team on the groundbreaking day at Khua Ho school, Son La. The short trip gave her a deep understanding of education in the highlands and the community's efforts to support those in difficult circumstances.
With the advantage of studying Social Work, My Hanh always aims to participate in and support social activities to improve the capacity of individuals and the community. She chooses practical, transparent programs that bring long-term benefits and help her develop new skills. Participating in social activities has helped Hanh improve many important skills such as communication, time management, leadership and teamwork. These skills are not only useful in volunteer activities but also in daily life and in studying. Time management skills also help her organize her work reasonably, while communication and leadership skills help her adapt and work effectively in group projects. With the mindset of constantly learning and knowing how to seize opportunities, Hanh was trusted to become the Head of the Social Work Student Club. Not only acting as an enthusiastic captain, building meaningful programs for the community, the female student also connects many young people with the same passion by organizing Warm Winter programs at schools in mountainous areas,...

In her journey to pursue her passion for conquering extracurricular activities at the places where she volunteered, Hanh also encountered many difficulties in balancing her studies and time frames for participating in practical experiences. Hanh shared: "This has always been a difficult problem for me, but I myself try to adapt and ensure the quality of my work." Despite facing challenges at times, from overcoming language barriers to adapting to harsh living conditions, the young girl remained steadfast in her journey. Every step, every discovery has left a mark in the female student's heart, helping Hanh mature and assert herself through meaningful trips.
“Youth is a wonderful time to discover yourself and the world” - My Hanh wants to tell young people not to let fear or anxiety hold them back. Be bold to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Only when we dare to act can we truly mature and contribute more to the community.
