3. How to register

  2. Applications submitted by mail must arrive at the research institute no later than the last day of the application deadline.
4. Benefits for students
  • Professors: account for ¼ of the candidates and provide intensive training.
  • Opening bridging courses to support interdisciplinary research.
  • Implement a learner-centered teaching approach: 1 instructor: 1 student.
  • Applying the credit system to research and innovating research-related courses aims to enhance research capabilities in Korean studies.
  • Many subjects are being reformed to include field trips, aiming to broaden the practical relevance of Korean Studies.
  • We are opening an International Korean Studies Department to internationalize the field of Korean Studies (taught in English).
  • Opening a Korean cultural center (mid-semester) and intensive Korean language courses for international students.
  • Conduct student exchange programs with foreign universities.
  • Full-time class
  • Low tuition fees and a variety of scholarships are available.
  • There is dormitory accommodation available for all international students.
  • Tuition-free: full tuition (tuition and research fees). All students are exempt from tuition fees; however, in the case of a student receiving a warning or disciplinary action, this tuition scholarship will be revoked.
  • New Generation Training Scholarship (Government Scholarship): Monthly living allowance of 750,000 won, one-time round-trip airfare for the entire duration of study.
