The training course was organized to help teachers/lecturers change their mindsets so as they are willing to take challenges as opportunities, accept diversity and differences; be able to inspire and advise students on start-up processes; be good at team-working and guide students to work in teams effectively; solve problems in education and in all other fields according to design thinking; and be capable of protecting their own intellectual property rights and advise students on such rights.
In the first stage of the course, the lecturers and staff were instructed in innovative and creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, lean start-up, business model canvas, and design thinking. The instructors are lecturers of VNU Hanoi and the Ministry of Science and Technology having completed the VIBE (Vietnam Ireland Bilateral Education Exchange Program) course in entrepreneurial Education.
After the first phase, participants will form project teams to undertake assigned open challenges.
Stage 2 of the training course will be launched on June 13th. On the morning of June 13th, students will continue to study the topic of intellectual property in practice under the guidance of Intellectual Property Attorney Phan Quoc Nguyen. In the afternoon of June 13th, the groups will present their ideas and solutions at the final pitching session. The best ideas selected will be streamlined by the Group of entrepreneurial educators and included in the Ministry of Science and Technology's “Support Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Vietnam Until 2025”.
