At the meeting, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh mentioned the interest of USSH in Korea studies since the 90s, when Vietnam and South Korea had not yet established official diplomatic relations. By holding scientific conferences and other academic events, the University's scholars have contributed to improving bilateral diplomatic relations. In a short period of under 3 decades, Vietnam-South Korea relations have progressed dramatically. The need for studying Korean language and culture in Vietnam is increasing and USSH is one of the leading institutions specializing in Korean studies nationwide.
Prof. Kim Kwang Soo said he was impressed by the sincerity and affection shown by the Vietnamese to South Korea. The two countries share many cultural and social similarities and have developed their bilateral relations in all areas. The Vietnamese are friendly, hard-working, resourceful and always future-oriented. The Global CEO Research Forum will do its best to successfully conduct the cooperative activities with USSH.
