Italian Embassy: Promoting cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the University of Bologna

On March 19, 2024, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan had a meeting with Prof.Dr. Macro Abbiati - Counselor for Science and Technology, Italian Embassy Hanoi and Professor. Patrizia Dogliani - representative of the University of Bologna on research cooperation, lecturer and student exchange.

Also attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, Department of International Studies and Department of History of the University.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, expressed his desire to cooperate with the University of Bologna in many aspects. In particular, the exchange of students and lecturers is a topic of special interest to both sides. With its position as a pioneering training and research facility in the field of social sciences and humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with 27 Bachelor's degree programs, 36 Master's degree programs, 30 Doctoral degree programs, ensures students have many opportunities. Choose from training programs that meet international standards.
Accordingly, international students studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are not only guaranteed the quality of teaching but also receive special support in terms of accommodation and medical services. International students coming to Vietnam will have the opportunity to experience cuisine, culture, landscapes, and create a bridge to enrich the existing close relationship between the two countries Vietnam - Italy.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Thuy - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History shared: The History major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the training majors with the longest tradition in Vietnam.
Sharing about cooperation opportunities between the two Universities, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Pham Van Thuy said: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities always pays special attention to lecturers from partner universities and research institutes. Currently, the Department of History at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the "second home" of many temple lecturers from many countries around the world and the teaching programs of visiting lecturers receive great attention and feedback.
