VNU-USSH cooperates with VASA in research and training in administrative science

The cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Vietnam Administrative Science Association (VASA) is expected to have many practical and effective contributions in training, research and policy consulting in the field of administrative science.
This is the content emphasized at the signing ceremony of the cooperation memorandum between the two units this afternoon, June 11, 2024.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Tran Anh Tuan - President of the Vietnam Association of Administrative Science, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Dr. Tran Van Tuan - Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Association, former Minister of Home Affairs; Ms. Tran Thi Ha - Member of the Advisory Council of the Association, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and the Association's leadership.
On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the VNU-USSH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Vice Chairman of the School Council, Head of Training Department and representatives of the leadership of the Faculty of Political Science, the Faculty of Archival Science and Office Administration, the Faculty of Management Science, and functional departments.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU shared his expectations for an effective cooperative relationship between the two units.
Appreciating the role of the Vietnam Association of Administrative Sciences with its extensive achievements in research and policy consulting; a place that gathers experts with deep expertise and management experience at all levels, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities believes that the cooperation between the two units will enhance the quality of training, expand research opportunities of VNU-USSH in the field of administrative sciences as well as study and internship opportunities for students at agencies and organizations.
Dr. Tran Anh Tuan - President of the Vietnam Association of Administrative Sciences, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs expressed that with 80 years of tradition, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU is the country's leading training institution in the field of social sciences and humanities, providing high-quality human resources for the country, having many common voices with the activities of the Association in particular and central agencies and departments in general.
The President of the Association shared his hope that the signing of the cooperation memorandum between the Vietnam Association of Administrative Sciences and the school would be the basis for implementing research, training, and policy consulting activities in the field of administrative sciences in an effective and practical manner.
By gathering dedicated, devoted, and passionate scientists in the field of administrative sciences, the Association will actively participate in research and training activities suitable to the needs of the school.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation in many fields, emphasizing cooperation in scientific research on administration and administrative reform; civil service regime; political science, management science; public policy; building development strategies, reorganizing the apparatus, innovating the operating mechanism; building a strong Party organization in terms of organization, ideology and politics.
VNU-USSH and VASA will strengthen cooperation in human resource development, building job positions, improving salary and income payment mechanisms, innovating the operating mechanism and improving the efficiency of managing civil servants and employees; researching and innovating thinking on the mechanism of autonomy and self-responsibility of public service units; applying information technology and digital transformation to activities to improve the efficiency and quality of human resource training.
