Short-term Training Program in Media and Journalism Management

The Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is pleased to announce the enrollment plan for the certificate training course "Journalism and Communication Management," with the following details:

1. Target audience of the course
Those working in leadership, management, and professional roles within press and media agencies, state management agencies for press and media, and the governing bodies of press and media units:
- Newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations;
- Propaganda Departments of districts/counties and provinces/cities directly under the provincial administration;
- Radio stations of districts/counties and cities directly under the provincial administration;
- Cultural, Sports and Media Centers of districts/counties and cities under provincial administration;
- Online newspapers/Electronic portals/General information websites/Electronic newsletters;
- Departments/divisions responsible for information, communication, propaganda, and public relations activities within agencies, organizations, units, and businesses.
- Organizations, institutions, and individuals who wish to enroll in the course.
2. Training Program
          This course helps students understand and analyze the basic principles of the Party's leadership role and the State's management of the press and media; the content of leadership, leadership mechanisms, management content, and management mechanisms for the press and media. It also helps them understand and analyze the situation and results of the Vietnamese press and media in the process of national renewal and press reform, including both achievements and shortcomings.
Assess the domestic and international situation related to journalistic and media activities; Apply innovative thinking, guiding principles, tasks, and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of leadership and management in the press in the coming years.
- MasterProfessional knowledge of administration and management in the field of journalism and media, as well as business knowledge., brand building, organizational structure managementpress and media;To synthesize, analyze, and interpret policies and media management activities within the workplace, and to effectively perform specific tasks related to press management, administration, and business in the field of media and journalism.
            After completing the course, learners will have the expertise and confidence to undertake various jobs such as leaders and managers in state management agencies at all levels, sectors, and localities in the field of journalism and media; consultants implementing business policies in the field of journalism and media for management agencies and businesses; specialists working in state agencies, organizations, and businesses operating in the field of journalism and media; business managers in journalism and media; researchers, lecturers, and business managers operating in the field of journalism and media.
