1. General information about the training program
- Program name: Media Leadership.
- Target audience:
High school students in Hanoi need to enhance their basic knowledge and experience in media.
- Training institution: Institute of Journalism and Communication Training - University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH).
- Certificate title: Media Leader.
- Training duration: 105 hours
2. Training Objectives
- To equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills in communication, along with necessary applications to support their studies, research, career guidance, and community interaction.
- Through experiential activities, we aim to inspire creativity and guide future career paths.
- Contributing to the dissemination of core values and leveraging the strengths of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.
3. Training schedule
- The training course lasts 10 days, with 2 sessions per day.
4. Total course load
The total number of credits to be accumulated is 7 credits (105 hours), including:
+ Theoretical content: 2 credits (30 hours)
+ Practical work and hands-on experience: 5 credits (75 hours)
5. Type of diploma awarded
- Upon completion of the course and if all training requirements are met, trainees will be awarded a certificate.

7. Teaching equipment
- Utilizing a dedicated studio system, smart classrooms, and modern teaching equipment to effectively meet the learning and teaching needs of the course, combined with the large lecture halls/auditoriums of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- Practical equipment for students: Multimedia communication equipment (cameras, video cameras, computers, video editing consoles, etc.)
8. Teacher Requirements
- The instructors are experts in the fields of mass communication, public relations, and media management, holding Master's degrees or higher.
- Our support collaborators are professionals working in the field of media, possessing excellent knowledge and skills.
9. Implementation
The classes are held in person at the Studio of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training. The requirements for certification are as follows:
- Trainees must not miss more than 20% of the course duration (including the practical training portion);
- Students must complete all required final essays or practical exercises.
- The final essay or practical assignment must achieve a score of 5 or higher.
