I. Television Broadcasting Operations

ButObject: Students who have graduated from or are currently studying at colleges/universities.

ButTargetUpon completion of the course, students will have grasped the basic theoretical knowledge of television and mastered the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically, as follows:

  • Scripts and television scripts; television program production processes; television journalism genres; television terminology.
  • The course covers basic television filming techniques such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice filming on modern video cameras.
  • Learn non-linear video editing techniques and currently popular computer graphics and special effects programs. In-depth study of the latest video editing and special effects software on computers such as: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Hollywood FX, Adobe After Effects… 100% hands-on training on high-performance computers, practicing on video editing cards from brands like Matrox and Pinnacle… Creating various types of television programs, music videos, etc.

ButStudy timeDuration: 6 weeks. 3 sessions per week. Practical sessions: 60-70% of the course time.

- Utilization of student projects: Suitable and high-quality projects will be published on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the authors will receive royalties according to current regulations.

ButTuitionCourse fee: 1,900,000 VND/student/course. For students currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 1,300,000 VND/student/course. For alumni of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with a degree awarded by the University): 1,600,000 VND/course.

II. Television Filming Techniques

ButObjectApplicants must have a high school diploma or higher.

ButTargetUpon completion of the course, students will have mastered the skills of television filmmaking, becoming proficient in camera angles, framing, and camera movements to film events, music videos, commercials, or various types of television programs. Specifically, the following will be covered:

  • Fundamental techniques of color and light, as well as color representation in television; principles of television technology such as image and sound analysis, image distortion correction, signal synchronization; principles of color television technology; systems such as PAL, NTSC, and digital television.
  • Basic and advanced filming techniques for fundamental television genres such as news, reports, documentaries, music videos, etc.

ButStudy timeDuration: 5 weeks. 3 sessions per week. Practical sessions account for 60-70% of the course time.

ButTuitionCourse fee: 1,300,000 VND/student/course. For students currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 900,000 VND/student/course. For alumni of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with a degree awarded by the University): 1,100,000 VND/course.

* Pay tuition feesA minimum of 70% of the tuition fee must be paid on the registration day. Tuition fees are non-refundable after the course begins.
