I. Television business

-Object: Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities.

-Target: At the end of the course, students will have a basic theoretical knowledge of television, and master the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically as follows:

  • Television scripts and scripts; television production process; television journalism genres; television terminology.
  • Techniques for filming basic television genres such as television news, reports, television documentaries, music videos, etc. Students practice filming on modern video cameras.
  • Nonlinear film editing techniques and popular computer graphics special effects programs today. In-depth study of the latest film editing and special effects software on computers such as: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Hollywood FX, Adobe After Effects... 100% direct study on high-end computers, practice on film editing cards from Matrox, Pinnacle... Editing various genres of television, music videos, ...

-Study time: 6 weeks. 3 sessions per week. Practice time: 60-70% of course time.

- Using students' practice products: Appropriate and good quality practice products will be posted on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the author will receive royalties according to current regulations.

-Opening: November 2, 2009

-Tuition: 1,900,000 VND/student/course. Current students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 1,300,000 VND/student/course. Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with degrees granted by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 1,600,000 VND/course.

II. Television filming techniques

-Object: Students must have a high school diploma or higher.

-Target: At the end of the course, students will have mastered the skills of filming television, mastered the filming angles, frames, and camera movements to film events, music videos, commercials, or film television genres. Specifically as follows:

  • Basic techniques of color and light as well as color representation in television, principles of television technology such as image synthesis analysis, sound, image distortion, signal correction, synchronization signal... principles of color television technology, systems such as PAL, NTSC... digital television.
  • Basic and advanced filming techniques for basic television genres such as television news, reports, television documentaries, music video clips, etc.

-Study time: 5 weeks. 3 sessions per week. Practice time: 6-70% of course time.

-Opening: November 2, 2009

-Tuition: 1,300,000 VND/student/course. Current students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 900,000 VND/student/course. Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with degrees granted by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 1,100,000 VND/course.

  • Time: During business hours from Monday to Friday
  • Application deadline: October 31, 2009

* Application form:

  • Application form (receive and fill out at the registration office)
  • Copy of high school diploma/student card/university diploma
  • 2 photos 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months)

* Pay tuition: Pay at least 70% of tuition on the day of registration. No refund after the start of the course.
