Successfully organized the TOEFL ITP workshop.

On November 14, 2009, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Educational Exchange Promotion - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the official representative of ETS in Vietnam, successfully organized the workshop "TOEFL ITP Training and Testing".

Nearly 100 participants attended the workshop from various universities and major organizations in Hanoi, including the Political Academy - Ministry of National Defense, Hanoi Law University, Hanoi University of Science, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi University, Hanoi Academy of Finance, Hanoi University of Industry, National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, Vietnamnet Newspaper, Department of Justice, Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, PetroVietnam Insurance Company, Voice of Vietnam Radio, etc.

The delegates at the workshop showed particular interest in the TOEFL ITP training program and the certification exam after the course. Most of them were graduate students from universities, and some individuals were preparing to take the 2010 master's or doctoral entrance exams according to the new requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training. Accordingly, the requirement for master's entrance exam candidates is a TOEFL ITP score of 400, and graduates must achieve a TOEFL ITP score of 450.

At the workshop, experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the ETS organization provided a lot of useful information for interested students, such as an introduction to the TOEFL ITP test structure, how to take the test, how scores are calculated, and the validity period of the TOEFL ITP certificate….

Currently, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Educational Exchange Promotion is offering TOEFL ITP test preparation classes for students aiming for scores between 400 and 500 points. Interested students are welcome to register.

The course content offers many benefits to students, such as: guiding students on how to take exams most effectively, practicing common question types in graduate and doctoral exams, and systematizing vocabulary and grammar knowledge.

New courses will begin on November 23, 2009.

Upon completion of the course, the center organizes a final TOEFL ITP certification exam administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) for students who wish to take it. The most recent exam, held on December 19, 2009, took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
