Successfully organized TOEFL ITP workshop

On November 14, 2009, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Education Exchange Promotion - University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the official representative of ETS Organization in Vietnam successfully organized the seminar "TOEFL ITP Training and Exam".

The workshop was attended by nearly 100 guests from many universities and some large agencies in Hanoi such as the Academy of Politics - Ministry of National Defense, University of Law, University of Natural Sciences, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi University, Academy of Finance, University of Industry, National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, Vietnamnet Newspaper, Department of Justice, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Petroleum Insurance Company, Voice of Vietnam Radio...

The delegates at the workshop all showed special interest in the TOEFL ITP training program and the certification exam after the course. Most of them were graduate students of universities and some individuals were preparing to take the exam for the master's or PhD training program in 2010 according to the new requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training. Accordingly, the requirement for the master's entrance exam is 400 TOEFL ITP points and students must achieve a TOEFL ITP score of 450 upon graduation.

At the workshop, experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and ETS provided a lot of useful information for interested students such as introducing the TOEFL ITP test structure, how to take the test, how to calculate scores and the validity period of the TOEFL ITP certificate...

Currently, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Education Exchange Promotion is opening a TOEFL ITP test preparation class from 400 to 500 points for interested students to register.

The course content brings many benefits to students such as: guiding students on how to do the test most effectively, practicing common types of questions in graduate and doctoral exams, systematizing knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, etc.

New courses start from 11/23/2009.

After completing the course, the center organizes the TOEFL ITP final certificate exam issued by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) for students in need. The most recent exam council on December 19, 2009 was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
