According to Official Letter No. 1465/TCDL-LH from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism dated December 27, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) is the sole authorized institution to organize specialized foreign language examinations for tour guides in the tourism sector.

I. Information about the specialized foreign language exam for tourism

1. Eligibility: Individuals wishing to obtain or renew an international tour guide license. 2. Exam Dates: October 22nd and 23rd, 2011 (Registration Deadline: Before October 16th, 2011) 3. Exam Location: University of Social Sciences and Humanities (336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) 4. Application Documents: - 1 passport-sized photo (3cm x 4cm) - 1 copy of ID card - 1 application form (according to template) - 1 copy of birth certificate 5. Exam Format: - Comprehensive written test (reading, writing, and listening skills): 90 minutes. - Thematic presentation: 7-10 minutes. 6. Exam Fee: Contact the center for details.

II. Information about review classes and knowledge systems (as requested by candidates)

1. Duration: 10 sessions (2.5 hours/session). 2. Tuition fee: 1,000,000 VND (One million Vietnamese Dong). 3. Minimum class size: 25 students.
