- The dissertation has contributed to clarifying the concepts of: "civil society," "security," "security of civil society," and "human security."
- The thesis has clarified new points in the content of the concept of "civil society security" when placed in the context of globalization.
- This thesis contributes to demonstrating that globalization creates "uncertainty" and "risk," and these are the new challenges to the security of civil society organizations.
- Contributing to clarifying the inevitability of the shift from "traditional" to "non-traditional" security.
- Drawing some lessons to ensure human security in Vietnam's current integration process.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings of this dissertation can be used as reference material for teaching and research on issues such as: the state, civil society, security of civil society, globalization, and for professionals working in fields related to the dissertation's topic.
12. Future research directions:
- To conduct in-depth research into the increasing risks and uncertainties threatening human security in the context of globalization, thereby helping policymakers develop compatible security governance methods to maintain social stability and development.
- Research on security in the new context, and from there attempt to identify the consequences and solutions to control them in the process of Vietnam's regional and international integration.
- Expand research into the experiences of other countries in using the measure of "human security" and promoting the role of security providers/guarantors (the State, the market, and civil society) in the context of globalization. Through this, draw some lessons to ensure human security in Vietnam's current integration process.

- The thesis has contributed to clarification of the concepts of “civil society”, “Security”, “Security of civil society” and “Human security”.
- The thesis has clarified the new points in the concept of “security of civil society” put in globalization context.
- The thesis has demonstrated that globalization causes factors such as “instability” and “threat” that are new challenges to security of civil society.
- The thesis has clarified the necessity of the transfer from “traditional security” to “non-traditional security”.
- The thesis has drawn some lessons to ensure human security in the current integration process of Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability:
Research findings of the thesis can be used as reference for teaching and research matters such as: the state, the civil society, security of the civil society, globalization, and practical officers in fields related to the topic of the thesis.
13. Further research directions:
- To research deeply the increase of risk, instability threatening human security in the context of globalization, then to help policy makers to establish adaptable security management methods in order to maintain the social stability and development.
- To research security in the new context, then to try pointing out consequences and solutions in order to control them during regional and international integration of Vietnam.
- To expand a research in the experience of other countries in using “human security” measure and promote the role of security providing/assuring subjects (the State, the market and the civil society) in the context of globalization; then, to learn some lessons in order to assure the human security during the integration process of Vietnam at present.
