1. Purpose and scope of the thesis

Based on clarifying theoretical and practical issues regarding the role of the press in Party building work in general, and focusing on Party organization building; the relationship between the press and Party organization building; the relationship between Vietnamese press and Party organizations; the impact of messages on Party organization building issues on the public; solutions and recommendations to improve the quality and effectiveness of press coverage of Party organization building in Vietnam today.

- The subject of the thesis:

This dissertation examines the theoretical and practical issues concerning the relationship between journalism and party building and organization.

This dissertation surveys and studies the content and form of expression in several journalistic works published in print and online newspapers on the issue of Party building and organization.

2. Research methods used

Based on the methodology of Marxism-Leninism, this dissertation employs a comprehensive approach using a system of domestic and foreign documents, textbooks, and reference books on journalism, media, and party organization and building. It also utilizes methods such as analyzing the content of journalistic messages, sociological surveys, and expert interviews to accomplish the dissertation's objectives.

3. Main results and conclusions

3.1. Main results

- This dissertation enriches the general theory of journalism and the role of journalism in the organization and building of the Party. The dissertation analyzes and evaluates the relationship between journalism and politics (Party building), the reciprocal and dialectical interaction between journalism and politics, and especially the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the revolutionary Vietnamese press.

- The dissertation analyzes, evaluates, and summarizes the position and role of the press within the Party's organizational system, and the role and position of Party organizations in leading and directing the activities of each media agency.

- The thesis presents the current state of journalism in Vietnam (advantages, limitations, causes) in disseminating information about Party building and Party organizational development.

- The impact of media messages about party building and organization on the public.

- The thesis proposes solutions to enhance the role and position of the press in disseminating information about Party building and Party organization building.

- The dissertation proposes recommendations to the Party; Party committees and organizations at all levels; and agencies leading and managing the press on how to lead, direct, and coordinate so that the press can truly access information about Party building and Party organization building in order to effectively carry out its propaganda tasks and serve Party building work in the three main aspects of politics, ideology, and organization.

This dissertation is the author's independent research work and has the following theoretical and practical significance:

- In theory:This dissertation presents systematic academic concepts regarding the relationship between journalism and party building in general, and party building in particular, in terms of organization. The dissertation establishes a theoretical framework and criteria for evaluating the quality of journalistic works that promote the work of party organization and building.

This dissertation examines the Marxist-Leninist and Ho Chi Minhist viewpoints and ideologies on the role of journalism in politics; and the viewpoints, policies, guidelines, and directions of the Party and State regarding journalism in the dissemination of information about Party building and organization.

- In practice:This dissertation is a systematic survey, research, and analysis of journalistic works, focusing on both print and online media, when writing about the issue of Party building and organization.

This dissertation can serve as a reference document in domestic training and research institutions specializing in journalism and media.

This dissertation serves as a valuable reference for leaders, managers, and officials working in Party organization and development.

1. Thesis purposes and objectives:

Thesis purposes: To clarify theoretically and practically the role of press in the party building in general and the organization of party building activities in particular; the relationship between the press and the organization of party building activities; coordination between the press in Vietnam and party organs; the impact of the message of the organization of party building activities towards the public; measures and proposals to improve quality and effectiveness of the press disseminating the organization of party building activities in Vietnam nowadays. -Objective: The thesis studies theoretically and practically the relationship between the press and the organization of party building activities.

The thesis explores and studies the content of messages and performance of some press works of the organization of party building activities published in the printing press and e-papers.

2. Research methods: Based on the methodology of the Marxism-Leninism, the thesis uses collectively the systematic method of domestic and foreign documents, party resolutions, textbooks and reference books in the sectors of the press, media and the organization of party building activities and other methods such as analysis of press messages, sociology survey and professional interview to complete the thesis's tasks.

3. Major results and conclusions

3.1. The major results:

• The thesis flowers the theory on the press and relationship between the press and the organization of party building activities. It analyzes and assesses the relationship between the press and politics (party building), dialetic interaction between the press and politics, especially the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnam revolutionary press.
• The thesis analyzes, assesses, generalizes the role of the press in party organizational system and the role of the party organs in leading and instructing activities of press agencies.
• The thesis highlights the reality of the disemination of party building and building party in term of organization by the press in Vietnam (advantanges, concerns and reasons).
• Impacts of press messages of the organization of party building activities on the public.
• The thesis proposes measures to improve the role of press in disseminating party building and the organization of party building activities.
• The thesis proposes to the Party, Party committees, Party organs and agencies leading and managing the press the measures of leadership, instruction and coordination in order to create favorable conditions for the press being accessed to information of the organization of party building activities, thus effectively implementing tasks of dissemination and party building on three aspects of politics, ideology and organization.

3.2. Conclusions:

The thesis is the author's independent research work which has some theoretical and practical implications, as follows:

• Theoretical significance: The thesis introduces scientific concepts of the relationship between the press and party building in general and party building in term of organization in particular. The thesis establishes a system of theoretical bases and evaluation criteria for the valuable works of the press on disseminating the party building.

The thesis has systematized viewpoints and ideology of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought on the relationship between the press and politics and the viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam on the press in term of disseminating party building.

ButPractical significance:The thesis is a research work which scientifically explores, studies and analyzes press works, including printing press and e-papers on the topic of the organization of party building activities.

The thesis can be a source of references for research and training on the press and media at the research and training centers.

The thesis is a source of useful reference for leadership and managing cadres in party building sector.

The thesis is also a source of reference for journalists and press managing agencies.
