- The thesis systematically presents the policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam on economic restructuring, and on that basis, objectively summarizes and evaluates the advantages and limitations of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee's leadership in economic restructuring from 2000 to 2010.

- This thesis draws out some key lessons from the process of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee leading the economic restructuring from 2000 to 2010. These lessons can be applied to the process of formulating policies and directives by the Provincial Party Committee to promote economic restructuring in Yen Bai in the following years.

11. Practical applications:

Upon completion, the research findings of this thesis can serve as a source of material for teaching, learning, and research on the history of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.

- The thesis has scientifically researched about the policies of Vietnam Communist Party about the transformation in economic structure. Based on this idea, the thesis also has provided objectively and scientifically analyzing the advantages and the limitations over the economic restructuring process under the direction of Yen Bai Provincial Communist Party Committee from 2000 to 2010.

- Especially, the thesis has withdrawn some major experieces about the process of transforming Yen Bai economic structure from 2000- 2010 by the Yen Bai Provincial Communist Party Committee. These valuable experiences are extremely useful for the planning economic policy in the next few years.

- After completed, the thesis results can be used as a reference document for the training, studying, and the research purpose about history of Communist Party Committee in Yen Bai province.
