- Provide comments on the effectiveness of the United Nations' humanitarian assistance in responding to natural disasters, the challenges and opportunities of humanitarian assistance, and forecasts on the future role of the United Nations in humanitarian assistance in responding to natural disasters.

- To offer some recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the United Nations' humanitarian assistance in responding to natural disasters.
