10. Summary of new results of the thesis:

The thesis has based on official documents to clarify the basic content, characteristics and trends of the movement of China-Japan political relations in the first decades of the 21st century. The analysis clarifies the theoretical and practical bases as well as the main factors affecting the movement of China-Japan political relations in the first decades of the 21st century, including internal factors of the two countries, international and regional factors... In addition, the researcher emphasizes the changes in the policies of both China and Japan, in relation to the fundamental changes in the world situation and the development needs of each country, to explain the adjustment of foreign policies of each country in general and towards each other in particular. On that basis, the thesis presents the characteristics and progress of the movement trend of this pair of relations, thereby drawing out the outstanding features of China-Japan political relations in the first two decades of the 21st century. Scenarios on the trend of China-Japan political relations in the early years of the 21st century have been analyzed and evaluated to forecast the trend of China-Japan political relations in the coming time. In addition, the thesis evaluates the prospects and impacts of the trend of China-Japan political relations on the regional political situation and on Vietnam in the coming time. It also proposes solutions for Vietnam to take advantage of opportunities and overcome challenges caused by the impact of China-Japan political relations on Vietnam's international relations.
