10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

- The dissertation compiles, collects, systematizes, and organizes relevant materials related to the topic. Specifically, the dissertation systematically, comprehensively, and detailedly presents the situation of relations in various fields between Vietnam and China in the provinces of Quang Ninh and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region during the period 1986-2010, including: trade exchange, investment cooperation, cultural and tourism cooperation, transportation cooperation, health and education cooperation, border demarcation cooperation, and the "Two Corridors, One Belt" cooperation.

- In the process of specifically researching the relationship between the two provinces in the new era, the author integrates and compares it with Vietnam-China relations at the state level, while also comparing it with the pre-reform period to draw out achievements and limitations. From there, the thesis analyzes the causes and clarifies the proactive and flexible approach of the two provinces in implementing the policies of the two states, the unique characteristics and role of comprehensive Vietnam-China cooperation in Quang Ninh and Guangxi provinces in the development of each province, each country, as well as in the bilateral relationship.

- Through studying this relationship over more than two decades, the thesis analyzes future prospects and contributes some ideas on directions and solutions to promote the relationship between the two localities, benefiting the country's economic development and bilateral relations.

11. Practical applications:

- The research findings of this thesis can serve as reference material for policymakers in Quang Ninh province in the socio-economic development of the province in general and the development of foreign relations with Guangxi in particular.

- This thesis can be used as a reference document for teaching and learning local history.

- Relations between the northern border provinces of Vietnam and Guangxi Province (China) since normalization (1991)

- The issue of cross-border cooperation in the Quang Ninh - Guangxi relationship.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- The thesis collects and systematizes the documents that relate to the subject, presents a comprehensive and systematic situation of the relations and cooperations between the two provinces from 1986 to 2010, including: Politics - diplomat, trade - investment, culture - tourism, health - education, border issues and cooperation two corridors, a coronary belt.

- Therefrom the thesis compares with the Sino – Vietnamese in state-level and in the period of pre-renovation to delineate the achievements and remaining issues, analize the cause, forecasts prospect of that relations in the future and gives some recommendations to promote the relationships between the two provinces for the development of Vietnam and China relations.

- The results of the thesis can be references for policy makers of Quang Ninh in the province's economic and social development in general and diplomatic relations with Guangxi in particular

- The thesis can be used as a reference document for the teaching and learning the local history.
