- This is the first scientific work in Vietnam to systematically study the philosophical views on science in the work "New Tools" by F. Bacon.
- The thesis directly presents and analyzes the values and limitations of F. Bacon's philosophical thought on science in the work "New Tools".
- The thesis points out the new things by analyzing the impacts of F. Bacon's philosophical thoughts on science on the era after him.

- F. Bacon's philosophical thoughts on science in the work "New Tools" can become a reference, research and teaching material as well as separate topics for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in philosophy.
