- From fresh research perspectives in cultural studies and poetics, this dissertation re-examines familiar literary phenomena of war in Vietnam from different dimensions and aspects, offering interpretations different from previous approaches.
- This dissertation also serves as an overview of American novels about the Vietnam War, which are often overlooked and unknown in current domestic research, while offering a Vietnamese perspective on American literary works that reflects a decolonizational spirit.
