- Approaching from the perspective of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, combined with interdisciplinary methods, the thesis has presented more systematically and clearly the objective and subjective basis for the formation and development of Minh Mang's political and social ideology. In particular, the thesis analyzes more fully the objective conditions and premises of the world, the region and Vietnam along with the analysis of the factors of Minh Mang's life and legacy bearing the subjective mark.

- The thesis has presented and analyzed the basic contents of Minh Mang's political and social ideology: 1. Ideology of governing the country 2. Ideology of perfecting the centralized monarchical state apparatus 3. Ideology of preserving sovereignty and traditional culture against Western influence.

- The thesis analyzed the influence of Minh Mang's political and social ideology on the Nguyen Dynasty feudal regime in fields such as politics, economics, culture, and education.

- The thesis has contributed to evaluating the value and limitations of Minh Mang's political and social thought in the process of Vietnamese ideological history.
