Approaching the subject from the perspective of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, combined with interdisciplinary methods, the dissertation systematically and more clearly presents the objective and subjective basis for the formation and development of Minh Mệnh's political and social thought. In particular, the dissertation analyzes more fully the objective conditions and prerequisites of the world, the region, and Vietnam, along with an analysis of the factors in Minh Mệnh's life, career, and writings that bear a strong subjective imprint.
- The dissertation presented and analyzed the basic contents of Minh Mệnh's socio-political thought: 1. Thought on the principles of governing the country; 2. Thought on perfecting the centralized monarchical state apparatus; 3. Thought on preserving sovereignty and traditional culture in the face of Western influence.
