- The thesis contributes to clarifying the concept of modern science and technology and its role in promoting traditional Vietnamese ethical values in the current period. Specifically:
+ The thesis presents the concept of modern science and technology with the following basic characteristics:
Firstly, modern science and technology is the organic union of science and technology.
Second, modern science and technology are the result of the modern scientific and technological revolution, which marked the beginning of the 20th century.
Third, the increasingly close connection between modern science and technology has brought about breakthrough achievements compared to previous periods, from which their impacts on all areas of social life have become increasingly stronger.
+ The thesis clearly points out and analyzes the current status of the role of modern science and technology in promoting traditional ethical values of the Vietnamese nation in the current period, that is: the role of modern science and technology is demonstrated in the perception and development of traditional ethical values, in creating practical operating conditions and tools and means to help people realize traditional ethical values, at the same time contributing to the fight against and reforming backward customs, practices and ethical standards that are no longer suitable for new social conditions.
- The thesis proposes some basic solutions to enhance the role of modern science and technology in promoting traditional Vietnamese ethical values in the current period. Specifically:
+ Group of solutions to raise awareness of subjects about the role of science and technology in promoting traditional national ethical values
+. Group of solutions to enhance the capacity to realize the role of modern science and technology in promoting traditional national ethical values
+. A group of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the fight against and reform of backward customs and practices and ethical standards that are no longer suitable for the new era.
11. Practical application:
The thesis can be used as a reference for research, teaching and learning institutions of scientific subjects such as philosophy and ethics at universities and academies and can be a theoretical reference for policy making and management of science and technology in the current period.

- The thesis contributes to clarify the concept of modern science and technology and its role in promoting the traditional ethical values of Vietnam in the present period, in particular:
+ The thesis presents the concept of modern science and technology with the following basic characteristics:
Firstly, modern science and technology is the organic bond between science and technology
Second, modern science and technology is the result of a revolution in modern science and technology, marked in the early 20th century.
Third, the growing attachment between modern science and technology has brought landmark achievements over previous periods, from which their effects on all aspects of life the society is becoming stronger.
+ The thesis shows and analyzes the current state of the role of modern science and technology in the promotion of the traditional ethical values of Vietnam in the present period, namely: the role of science and modern technology is manifested in the perception and development of traditional ethical values, in the creation of practical conditions of work, tools and means to help people realize the virtues. Traditional customs, and at the same time contribute to struggling, renovating backward customs and practices and moral standards that no longer fit the new social conditions.
- The thesis proposes some basic solutions to enhance the role of modern science and technology in the promotion of traditional ethical values in Vietnam at present, in particular:
+ The group solutions to raise the awareness of subjects on the role of science and technology in promoting traditional ethical values.
