Through researching this topic, the author has achieved the following main results:
Firstly, it can be said that besides the diversity of research works on intellectuals, the thesis is an official research work on building a team of intellectuals of ethnic minorities in the Southwest region according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.
Second, through many different approaches, the thesis has systematized and generalized the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals as a theoretical framework for the entire thesis. In particular, the thesis clarifies Ho Chi Minh's views on the position and role of ethnic minority intellectuals, on the subject of construction, the specificity of ethnic minority intellectuals and measures to build a team of ethnic minority intellectuals.
Third, the thesis examines the process of building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest from 2008 to 2021. The thesis summarizes the achievements and clearly analyzes the limitations and causes of limitations in building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest today.
Fourthly, the current situation of building this team also shows that there are many emerging issues that need to be resolved to create conditions for the development of ethnic minority intellectuals. The thesis forecasts the situation and direction of building the team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest until 2035, and at the same time proposes solutions to promote the building of the team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.
