11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis
Through this research, the author has achieved the following main results:
Firstly, it can be said that, alongside the diversity of research works on intellectuals, this dissertation is the official research work on building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwestern region of Vietnam according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology.
Secondly, through various approaches, the thesis has systematically and comprehensively summarized the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals, providing a theoretical framework for the entire thesis. Specifically, the thesis clarifies Ho Chi Minh's views on the position and role of ethnic minority intellectuals, the subjects involved in building this team, the unique characteristics of ethnic minority intellectuals, and the measures for building this team.
Thirdly, the thesis examines the process of building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest region of Vietnam from 2008 to 2021. The thesis summarizes the achievements and clearly analyzes the limitations and causes of these limitations in building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest region of Vietnam today.
Fourth, the current state of this intellectual workforce development also reveals several emerging issues that need to be addressed to create favorable conditions for the development of ethnic minority intellectuals. The thesis forecasts the situation and direction for building the intellectual workforce of ethnic minorities in the Southwest region of Vietnam up to 2035, and proposes solutions to promote the development of this workforce in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's ideology.
12. Practical applications
The findings of this thesis can serve as a reference for research on Ho Chi Minh's thought. Furthermore, the thesis contributes to providing scientific arguments for addressing practical issues arising in the development of an intellectual workforce among ethnic minorities in the Southwest region of Vietnam. The solutions discussed in the thesis offer insights for improving the legal and policy framework for building an intellectual workforce among ethnic minorities.
13. Future research directions
In the future, there is a need for in-depth research topics on the intellectual workforce of ethnic minorities in the Southwest region of Vietnam from a political, ideological, and cultural perspective, such as exploring the religious beliefs and political consciousness of ethnic minority intellectuals in the Southwest region.

Secondly, through many different approaches, the thesis has systematized and generalized the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on building a team of ethnic minority intellectuals as a theoretical framework for the entire thesis.
