Vietnam has geographical advantages and is ready to strongly develop renewable energy sources. The development of renewable energy sources in Vietnam is not only in line with the current context of promoting energy saving and environmental protection in the world, but also in line with the fundamental interests of Vietnam and neighboring countries. Based on the expectation of Vietnam's economic and population growth, Vietnam's electricity demand will increase significantly in the next 10 years. Looking at the current installed capacity of solar power, Vietnam's domestic production is basically saturated. The wind power market has many prosperous business opportunities. Vietnam is currently the most mature wind power market in Southeast Asia with the most complete investment conditions. Investment opportunities should not be missed, believing that Vietnam will gradually become a major wind power country in the future. However, renewable energy power generation depends too much on weather and natural conditions, but the operation is complicated and unstable, the cost of renewable energy power generation is also higher than thermal power.
