The topic clarifies some theories about the image of ethnic minority women in the press; criteria for evaluating the quality of communication and requirements for communicating the image of ethnic minority women in the press. The author surveyed 02 electronic newspapers, the Ethnic and Development newspaper (baodantoc.vn) and Tien Phong newspaper (tienphong.vn); 02 printed newspapers, the Vietnamese Women newspaper - Special topic on Ethnic Minorities and MN and the News newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) - Special topic on Ethnic Minorities and MN in informing, reflecting and promoting the image of ethnic minority women. Thereby, the author evaluates the advantages and limitations in terms of content, form, impact on the public and recommends some solutions to contribute to improving the quality of information in the Vietnamese press about ethnic minority women, aiming to attract more attention from society to this group.
