10. Summary of the thesis results:
Based on a focused survey, analysis, and evaluation of the current state of community role and management activities in the ancient urban heritage of Hoi An, this thesis draws conclusions and proposes several solutions to further strengthen and enhance the role of the community and cultural heritage management activities in Hoi An and other cultural heritage sites.
Based on that, the thesis puts forward several recommendations to further enhance the role of the community and the management effectiveness of the ancient town of Hoi An and Quang Nam province.
The research findings serve as a reference for cultural heritage management units, particularly those interested in the role of the community in management in general, and for units involved in the management of Hoi An heritage – the main subject of this thesis.

On that basis, the thesis makes some recommendations to further improve the effectiveness of community's role in heritage management in Hoi An in particular and Quang Nam province in general.
