Based on the synthesis of in-depth interview responses from journalists, managers of press agencies and survey results from 771 news and articles about tourism in electronic newspapers: Can Tho Online, An Giang Online, Dong Khoi Online, the thesis analyzes the current situation of organizing specialized tourism pages in electronic newspapers of the Mekong Delta.
Specifically, the thesis has researched and pointed out the role of press and media in the process of developing local tourism, the content organization processes in electronic newspapers that are developing according to multimedia trends, the challenges and opportunities of local electronic newspapers in the face of modern journalism trends.
From the successes, limitations and causes of limitations, the thesis proposes solutions in the following aspects: organizational process, press products, and public approach methods. At the same time, it also proposes a group of solutions for leaders of provinces, cities, functional management agencies and press agencies, gradually contributing to improving the quality of press products on tourism in local electronic newspapers.
11. Practical applicability: The solutions are based on the practical situation from the survey newspapers: Can Tho Online, An Giang Online, Dong Khoi Online. This is considered the basic premise for Can Tho Newspaper to build a project to publish Delta Tourism Magazine (electronic version) from now until 2025.
