Project Title: Organizing a dedicated tourism section on online newspapers in the Mekong Delta
The thesis is structured into three chapters, including:
Chapter 1: Theoretical and practical basis for organizing travel sections in newspapers.
Chapter 2: The current state of organizing tourism sections on online newspapers in the Mekong Delta.
Chapter 3: Some solutions to improve the effectiveness of organizing tourism sections on online newspapers in the Mekong Delta.
Based on a synthesis of in-depth interviews with journalists and managers of media organizations, and the results of a survey of 771 news articles on tourism in online newspapers such as Can Tho Online, An Giang Online, and Dong Khoi Online, this thesis analyzes the current state of organizing tourism-related sections on online newspapers in the Mekong Delta.
Specifically, the thesis researched and pointed out the role of media in the development of local tourism, the content organization processes on online newspapers that are developing in a multimedia trend, and the challenges and opportunities for local online newspapers in the face of modern journalistic trends.
Based on the successes, limitations, and causes of these limitations, the thesis proposes solutions in the following areas: organizational processes, journalistic products, and methods of engaging the public. It also offers solutions for provincial and city leaders, functional management agencies, and media outlets, gradually contributing to improving the quality of tourism-related journalistic products on local online newspapers.
11. Practical applicability: The proposed solutions are based on practical situations from survey reports: Can Tho Online, An Giang Online, and Dong Khoi Online. This is considered the foundation for Can Tho Newspaper to develop a project to publish a Mekong Delta Tourism Magazine (electronic version) between now and 2025.

Specifically, the thesis has researched and pointed out the role of media in the local tourism development process; the processes of organizing content inonline newspapers are developing in the trend of multimedia; challenges and opportunities of local online newspapers in the face of modern journalism trends.
From the successes, limitations and causes of limitations, the thesis proposes solutions in the following aspects: organizational process, journalistic products, methods of public access. At the same time, this thesis also offers a group of solutions for leaders of provinces and cities, functional management agencies and press agencies, gradually contributing to improving the quality of tourism journalistic products in local online newspapers
