11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
- Identify the connotation of the concept of cinematic quality: Cinematic quality is a concept that refers to the marks of cinema; created from the use of techniques, characteristics, and ways of affecting the audience of cinema in literature as well as other art forms. A literary work with cinematic quality does not mean that the work can be easily adapted to cinema.
- Explain and qualify the manifestations of cinematic quality at the poetic levels in the three novels Luzhin's Defense, Laughter in the Dark, Lolita by V.Nabokov: The cinematic quality in these three novels is expressed through the montage structure, the narrator and the point of view of the camera, and the creation of space in the mise-en-scene style.
- Determining the cinematic quality in V. Nabokov's novels is a basic category determined by the writer's worldview, his active ideological-aesthetic searches as well as the objective trends of novels in the first half of the 20th century: The cinematic quality contributes to expressing V. Nabokov's concept of truth and the grasp of truth, of the other world besides the real world. The game effect created by the cinematic quality in Nabokov's novels makes them understood in many different ways, leading to many debates, and thus putting them among the most attractive novels of the 20th century.
- Establishing V. Nabokov's position in the process of novel innovation in the 20th century: V. Nabokov became one of the first writers to use elements of cinematic language in his novels. That makes his novels, in addition to the intertextuality that has been qualitatively characterized by Nabokov scholars, also have intermediality, according to the author of the thesis.
- Identifying the cinematic quality as an agent that brings the novel closer to the genres of popular culture in the context of modern and postmodern art of the 20th century: The cinematic quality in V. Nabokov's novels has blurred the boundaries of genres; paving the way for the birth of the cinematic novel genre - a novel variation that has been inviting Nabokov scholars in particular, and literary criticism researchers in general.
12. Practical applicability: The thesis can be used as a document for those who are studying and researching literary genres and the history of 20th century literature and art.
13. Further research directions: Research on hybrid phenomena in literature and art from the 20th century to the present
