Professor Ooi Keat Gin

Professor Ooi Keat Gin is a Professor of Modern History of Brunei and Borneo at the Academy of Brunei Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (London) and has many years of research experience in Southeast Asian history.

His research focuses on Southeast Asian history, the history of Brunei and Borneo, socio-cultural history, and urban history. He is the author and co-editor of numerous works on the region's history and culture.
