
Dr. Frédéric Roustan is a researcher and lecturer at Aix-Marseille University and also works at the IrAsia Institute. He holds a PhD in Japanese language and society from Osaka University and has conducted research at the University of Tokyo and Hitotsubashi University.
His research focuses on Japanese history and society, Japan-Vietnam relations, and the history of exchanges between Japan and Southeast Asia. He is particularly interested in the history of Japanese migration to Vietnam and the exchange and connection activities between the two countries.
