The University of Social Sciences and Humanities elevates its traditional cooperative relationship with Peking University.

On the morning of April 11, 2026, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector, held a cooperation exchange with the Foreign Language Institute, Peking University, one of the University's traditional and close partners. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Chen Ming, Director of the Institute.
The two sides discussed and agreed on the following tasks:
1. Agree to continue the long-standing traditional cooperation between the two sides on the exchange of lecturers and students, international joint training in language, culture, history, and literature; and cooperation in organizing academic activities such as talks, seminars, workshops, and joint international conferences...
2. To agree on cooperation in applied training programs such as developing digital skills and artificial intelligence skills linked to the Vietnamese language for students of the two universities.
3. To unify research content, academic exchanges, and organize joint seminars on language, culture, regional studies, and international issues... in order to contribute to the preservation and promotion of national linguistic and cultural values.
4. To agree on contents regarding cooperation in talent training, educational innovation, co-supervision of postgraduate studies, visiting lecturer research, faculty exchange, and cultural exchange between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Peking University.
5. Initiate collaborative training in specialized Vietnamese language, Area Studies, and joint publications between the Foreign Language Institute of Peking University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
 
Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led a delegation on a working visit to the Foreign Language Institute, Peking University.

Peking University is one of the national key universities, part of major projects such as the "Double First-Class University," "985," and "211" programs. Founded in 1898 as the Imperial College of Economics, it was renamed Peking University in 1912. In 2000, Peking University merged with Peking University Medical School, forming its current multidisciplinary system. With approximately 50,000 students and over 12,841 faculty and staff, it is a leading center for education, research, and academia in China and Asia.
