One key area of cooperation discussed by both sides was a scholarship program for postgraduate students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Under this program, KAS will provide living expenses to enable students to focus on their research, while also opening up opportunities for long-term academic development, including access to doctoral programs in Germany through German language learning and international academic connections.
Furthermore, policy research projects linked to local practices continue to be considered a strategic area of cooperation. In the context of Vietnam entering a phase of administrative reform and streamlining the state management apparatus, KAS representatives believe this is the time to intensify in-depth research to provide a scientific basis for policy planning and sustainable development.
