The workshop was organized by the King Sejong Institute Foundation, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea.
The program was attended by many leaders, guests and more than 90 representatives from King Sejong Institutes and universities and Korean language training centers nationwide. The delegates exchanged and shared teaching experiences, discussed the development orientation of translation and interpretation training programs in the AI technology era, and participated in exciting and meaningful group discussion activities.
Representatives of the Sejong Korean Language Center (King Sejong Hanoi 1), a delegation of lecturers from the Korean Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the school including Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Giang (representing King Sejong Center Hanoi 1 participating in the study) and Dr. Ha Minh Thanh (participating in teaching the Translation subject) actively attended the program.
During the workshop, the group of lecturers contributed many practical ideas, shared practical experiences and worked with colleagues to develop effective translation and interpretation teaching methods. In particular, the team with the participation of lecturers was awarded the Best Group Award by the Organizing Committee thanks to its creative and highly applicable presentation content.
Participating in this professional training program not only contributes to improving teaching capacity and updating new trends in translation and interpretation education, but also affirms the continuous efforts of the Korean Studies faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in training and spreading Korean language and culture in Vietnam.
