The candidates were confident and relaxed before the exam.

Congratulations to all students who have completed the 2026 entrance exam for 10th grade at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities.
According to regulations, candidates take the common subjects including Literature, Mathematics, and English; Literature is essay-based, while Mathematics and English are multiple-choice. For the specialized subject, candidates choose one of three subjects: Literature, History, or Geography, all of which are essay-based. Scores for all subjects are calculated on a 10-point scale.
The exam time is designed to suit the competency assessment requirements of each subject. Specifically, the general Literature exam has a time limit of 120 minutes, Mathematics 90 minutes, English 60 minutes, and specialized Literature, History, and Geography 150 minutes.
Regarding the admission process, eligible candidates must take all three general subjects and one specialized subject exam and must not have been disqualified. Each general subject score must be 2.0 or higher, and the specialized subject score must be 6.0 or higher. The admission score is calculated using the formula: Admission Score = General Literature x 1 + Mathematics x 1 + English x 1 + Specialized Subject (Literature, History, Geography) x 3, with the total score rounded to two decimal places. The school selects candidates based on scores from highest to lowest until all available places in each specialized class are filled, and no priority or bonus points are added.
To ensure the exam is conducted seriously, objectively, and in accordance with regulations, the school has meticulously prepared the necessary conditions regarding facilities, personnel, examination rooms, invigilation, and support plans. The exam organization process has been implemented rigorously, ensuring safety and transparency, creating a sense of security for candidates and parents.
The school is expected to announce the exam results and admission results for specialized classes on its website before June 29, 2026.
