This information was exchanged at a meeting between the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Vietnam Navy this morning, June 15, 2024.

Về phía Trường ĐH KHXH&NV, ĐHQGHN có sự tham dự của GS.TS Hoàng Anh Tuấn - Bí thư Đảng ủy, Hiệu trưởng nhà trường; PGS.TS Bùi Thành Nam - Phó Chủ tịch Hội đồng trường, Trưởng phòng Đào tạo cùng lãnh đạo các phòng chức năng.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, expressed the university's gratitude in awarding scholarships to the Navy of the Vietnam People's Army.
Tại buổi làm việc, GS.TS Hoàng Anh Tuấn bày tỏ, với 80 năm truyền thống, Trường ĐH KHXH&NV, ĐHQGHN là đơn vị hàng đầu trong nghiên cứu, đào tạo ở lĩnh vực khoa học xã hội và nhân văn. Cơ cấu các ngành đào tạo của nhà trường hoàn thiện với 92 ngành học bậc cử nhân, thạc sĩ, tiến sĩ.
Hiệu trưởng Hoàng Anh Tuấn chia sẻ chủ trương của Đảng ủy, Ban Giám hiệu Trường ĐH KHXH&NV, ĐHQGHN thực hiện trách nhiệm quốc gia, trao tặng học bổng cho các chiến sĩ Hải quân hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ quốc gia, khi trở về được học tập, trau dồi tri thức để phục vụ cho sự nghiệp bảo vệ tổ quốc.
Theo đó, Trường ĐH KHXH&NV sẽ trao tặng 100 suất học bổng toàn phần dành cho chiến sĩ hải quân hoàn thành tốt nghĩa vụ quân sự, thi đỗ vào các ngành học (cả hệ chính quy và hệ vừa làm vừa học) của Trường ĐH KHXH&NV từ năm 2025.
Ngoài ra, khi trở thành sinh viên của VNU-USSH, các em sẽ có cơ hội được hưởng nhiều chính sách hỗ trợ dành cho sinh viên của nhà trường, như học bổng khuyến khích học tập, học bổng Thu hút tài năng dành cho sinh viên 09 ngành học cơ bản, học bổng ngoài ngân sách đến từ các tổ chức, doanh nghiệp...
Major General Hoang Hong Ha - Rear Admiral, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Navy, delivered a speech at the working session.
Expressing his gratitude for the sentiments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Major General Hoang Hong Ha stated that the university's scholarship fund will be a great motivation for naval soldiers to continue to fulfill their duties in protecting the homeland, expanding opportunities for developing their abilities, ethics, and career prospects after completing their service. This demonstrates the policy of care and consideration of the Party and State in general, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, towards the naval forces.
Major General Hoang Hong Ha emphasized that this scholarship program is the first of its kind implemented at VNU-USSH as well as the Navy, and it marks the beginning of further cooperation activities between the two units.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan presented a commemorative gift to Major General Hoang Hong Ha.
