Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the university, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam - Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, and Dr. Bui Van Tuan - Deputy Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language;
Representing Da Lat University were Dr. Le Minh Chien - Rector of the university, along with faculty members from the Board of Directors and heads of functional departments, and representatives from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies.
Representing Hong Bang International University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khac Cuong - Vice Rector of the university, along with representatives from the leadership of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies;
Representing the University of Foreign Languages - Hue University were Dr. Nguyen Ho Hoang Thuy - Vice Rector of the university and the Dean and faculty members of the Department of Vietnamese Studies;
The cooperation agreement aims to improve the quality of training and teaching, and strengthen the development of applied scientific research in various fields based on the strengths of each university.
Accordingly, the four universities will implement activities to exchange training programs and teaching methods in various fields of study; and coordinate the implementation of projects and scientific research on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Central Highlands region until 2030, with a vision to 2045, in accordance with Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated October 6, 2022, of the Politburo.
In addition, the parties will cooperate in undergraduate and postgraduate training, including faculty and student exchanges, credit recognition between universities; cooperation in scientific research activities such as co-organizing conferences, jointly conducting research projects, and sharing information and data for faculty and student research. They will also support the publication of research results in publications of both sides such as proceedings, journals, and monographs.

Within the framework of cooperation, four universities jointly organized a scientific conference on the theme: “Interdisciplinary Research and Training in Vietnamese Studies”. The conference received 72 papers from nearly 100 authors. Notably, although initially intended as a conference for four Vietnamese Studies training institutions, its significance, reach, and empathy stemmed from Vietnamese Studies training institutions nationwide. The conference attracted the attention of experts and professionals from Vietnamese Studies training institutions across the country, such as Hong Duc University, Phu Yen University, Saigon University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Duy Tan University, Van Lang University, etc.
With 20 selected papers presented, the workshop was conducted in 3 subcommittees: Interdisciplinary Vietnamese Studies Research; Interdisciplinary Vietnamese Studies Training; and Vietnamese Linguistics and Methods of Teaching Vietnamese.
Here, speakers raised issues aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences in university management; linking training, human resource development, scientific research, and technology transfer to meet the development goals of universities.
