Attending the signing ceremony were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU - USSH), along with representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, Department of Training, Department of Scientific Research Management, Department of Administration and staff, lecturers of the Department of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On the partner side, there was the participation of Prof. Kim Ok-Mi - representative of Daegyeong University, and the Executive Board of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 Project from Universities and Research Institutes of the DG9+ Project.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the school shared: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU has the mission of taking the lead in training high-quality, highly qualified human resources; researching, creating and disseminating knowledge about social sciences and humanities - always promoting and promoting research cooperation and implementing development projects with partners and scientific agencies at home and abroad, attracting international experts and scientists to give lectures, give scientific presentations, attend seminars and carry out research activities. The school is implementing the strategic development goal in the direction of a research university, continuing to affirm its leading position in research and training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam, moving towards 2035 into the group of 100 leading universities in the continent and on par with advanced universities (in the group of 500) in the world.
Currently, international integration is playing a strong role as a trend for the school, especially during the post-Covid-19 recovery period, which is a time to promote cooperation with international universities, ensuring the effectiveness of cooperation and mutual benefits. Therefore, President Hoang Anh Tuan welcomed the goodwill of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 Project Council, and emphasized the opportunity for long-term cooperation between VNU - USSH and the parties, aiming for innovation in cooperation, not only limited to academics but also in business. This will be an opportunity for the school and partners to share and try out many new options, promising to bring many experiences and expected results for all parties.

Professor Kim Jae-hwan emphasized: Social sciences and humanities is one of the units being invested and developed by the DG9+ Project Board, which has brought about many achievements beyond expectations. In this spirit, the professor hopes that this will be a premise to strengthen the cooperation between the GD9+ project and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in the coming years, moving towards extensive cooperation with member schools in the project.

Accordingly, Prof. Lim Jae-hwan - representative of Andong University expressed his agreement with the discussed contents, and affirmed that today's signing ceremony will be an important milestone, creating the premise for deeper cooperation in the future. At the signing ceremony, Prof. Lim Jae-hwan Kumoh also expressed his desire to soon realize student exchange activities and credit recognition between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and schools in the DG9+ project. With effective preparation and exchange from all parties, many study programs have been prepared, ready to welcome students to participate around winter this year.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Head of Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared about the need to learn about Korean culture in Vietnam. According to Dr. Bui Thanh Nam, with a specific plan and reasonable implementation, this will be an opportunity for the two countries' cultures to interact and exchange knowledge. Especially with the strengths of applied sciences and in-depth theories of emerging industries today, the exchange of students and lecturers will be expanded to many other departments, not just limited to Korean Studies.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Head of Oriental Studies Department discussed opportunities for research cooperation, publication in scientific journals of both parties and towards international publishing.
After agreeing on the cooperation contents, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 Project Council (DG9+), Korea signed a cooperation document with the following key contents:
