The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language (VSL) is a beloved home for generations of Vietnamese and foreign teachers, scientists, students, and trainees who share a love and connection to the Vietnamese language and culture. On the occasion of the Faculty's 50th anniversary, they returned and reunited in a spirit of joy and emotion. They recalled the hardships, shared their pride in the achievements of the Faculty over the past 50 years, and looked forward to a bright future for the Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies in the context of current integration.

The faculty members were delighted to welcome Professor Hoang Trong Phien, People's Teacher - the first head of the Vietnamese Language Department.
