7. Vu Thi Yen - Valedictorian of the Tourism Studies major.

"It was only after starting work that I realized employers don't look at your grades or how well you grasp theory. They only care about your attitude and what you can do for them. In my opinion, during university, studying theory is only a part of it, just a foundation. You should go out and work part-time to gain experience. Out in the real world, you'll have to endure a lot, learn patience, and face many challenges to grow. My biggest regret from my four years of university is not daring to express myself more. Many times I missed opportunities to be more successful, to make better progress, and to have a brighter future. My advice to those in lower years is to try to make the most of your remaining time to express yourself and seize opportunities; don't be shy. When you're shy, you've already lost 50% of your opportunities. My future plans include learning more foreign languages, and my dream is to become a flight attendant for Vietnam Airlines."
8. Nguyen Thi Tam - Valedictorian of the Management Science major
Outstanding young person at the grassroots level in 2014.
Outstanding Young Person of Hanoi National University in 2016.
Certificate of Merit from the Principal for students achieving excellent academic results in the 2015-2016 academic year.
BIDV scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic achievements in the 2016 academic year.
Certificate of Merit from the Director of Hanoi National University for students who achieved outstanding academic and training performance throughout the 2013-2017 academic year.

"I have a study method where I always take notes on everything taught in class. I don't think this is an outdated method, because I find what the teachers say much easier to understand than the information in the textbook. If I take thorough notes and then review the material later, I remember it better. I never use pre-made study guides from photocopy shops for final exams. I take complete notes, read the textbook, and create my own study guide at the end of the semester.
I'm definitely a bookworm. I'm quite introverted and don't socialize much; I don't like participating in extracurricular activities. My biggest regret during my four years of university is not daring to participate in more group activities. If I had, my social circle would probably have been much wider, and my communication skills would have improved significantly. My future plans are to develop my skills and career opportunities at my current company and to learn Chinese to further my personal aspirations."
9. Duong Tien Hoan – Valedictorian of the Archival Studies major.
First Prize in the School-level Scientific Research Competition, academic year 2014-2015.
Third Prize in Faculty-level Scientific Research for the academic years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.
Scholarships from Vina Korea Co., Ltd.
Certificate of Merit from the School Youth Union Secretary for outstanding performance of the Branch Youth Union Secretary; Certificate of Merit from the Hanoi City Youth Union for outstanding performance of the Inter-branch Youth Union Secretary during the 2015-2017 term.

"As a Youth Union leader, my work is relatively busy, but for me, Youth Union and Student Association activities greatly support my professional activities, especially my studies. Thanks to participating in social activities, I have gained a lot of experience to incorporate into my lessons, making academic lessons more engaging.
I also participate in scientific research activities. Doing research helps me learn logical thinking. Besides studying, I advise you to choose a part-time job that suits your study schedule, abilities, and health. Part-time jobs offer many benefits, especially communication skills. Regarding relationships, I think if possible, you should make more friends and fall in love during university. Because if you can balance love and studies, it will be very interesting and give you certain experiences.
I've always believed that self-discipline leads to more efficient and effective work. With self-discipline, you'll be well-received and recognized by your superiors in any organization or institution. In the near future, I want to learn more Japanese and restaurant management skills to be able to seize job opportunities in various positions."
