16. Pham Binh Minh – Valedictorian of Journalism
Outstanding student at the university level.
Outstanding student at the National University level for the 2015-2016 academic year.

"The person who had the greatest influence on me during my four years of university was Ms. Nguyen Thu Giang, my thesis supervisor. She guided me on a novel and unique topic with immense enthusiasm and dedication. She was the one who helped me gain the foundational knowledge of social critical thinking skills.
During my four years at university, I dedicated a significant amount of time to extracurricular activities. These included international volunteer programs such as Global Passport – Attendee, YSEALI – Member, and the "Green Knights Day" event. I also participated in the Communications Committee. In addition, I frequently attended human rights dialogues organized by the U.S. Embassy. Participating in these activities gave me opportunities to express my opinions, interact with foreigners, improve my language skills, and develop my problem-solving abilities.
In the near future, I hope to have the opportunity to study abroad at a higher level to continuously develop myself. For me, with enough determination, anything is possible. I always set goals for myself at each stage and always tell myself to strive my best to achieve them. I always set goals for myself at every stage and always tell myself to try my best to achieve them."
17Nguyen Thi Anh - Valedictorian of the Information Science major.
Certificate of Merit from the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for students with excellent academic achievements over the four years of study.
Chungsoo Scholarship, South Korea, 2016.

"Studying at the Faculty of Humanities was a matter of "fate" for me. Before the university entrance exam, I saw my best friend, who sat next to me, preparing her application to the Faculty of Humanities, and I thought I'd check out the different majors there. I found Information Science quite interesting, so I applied to study it.
Becoming a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a great source of pride for me. I set my own academic goals throughout my four years of study and strived to achieve them. As a student, I had to be self-directed in learning, research, and dare to think outside the box, discover new things, and confidently present them to others. Furthermore, during my studies, I proactively developed my own learning methods, learned teamwork, and gained confidence in presentations and debates. Besides studying from textbooks and the knowledge imparted by my professors, I also accumulated practical knowledge about my field of study through surveys and hands-on work at libraries.
During my four years at the university, in addition to classroom learning, I also participated in activities such as: Green Humanities, volunteer activities organized annually by the Faculty of Information and Library Science, and scientific research.
I always tell myself, "Success isn't about how much money you make, how many luxury cars or houses you own, how many countries you've traveled to, or how many digits your bank account has. Success is when, despite the doubts of many people, you still dare to choose to live the path you desire.""
18.Nguyen Thi Bich - Valedictorian of the Vietnamese Studies major

"I think the most important thing during university studies is self-study and having a conscious approach to learning. If you consider it something enjoyable, then studying will be easier.
I chose the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language because of my love for Vietnamese culture. What I like most is the opportunity to interact and meet with international students studying at the Department.
I've always believed that education is the most important thing, so I planned ahead. While studying, I continued to experience, learn, constantly challenge myself, and enjoy life. I think, "If you have a clear roadmap and a specific plan, you'll be closer to achieving your dreams."Hey".
19. Doan Canh Tuan – Valedictorian of the Linguistics major
Encouragement Award for Student Scientific Research 2014-2015.
First Prize in the 2015 University-level Student Scientific Research Competition.
Second Prize in the Ministry-level Student Science and Technology Research Competition 2016-2017.
Posco Korea Scholarship 2015-2016.
Outstanding Students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in the academic year 2015-2016.
Outstanding Students of Hanoi City in the 2016-2017 academic year.

"My first challenge when starting university was getting used to the general courses, which had a large amount of academic knowledge. For those courses, I needed to concentrate intensely in class and study from the beginning so I wouldn't struggle with coursework and exams at the end of the semester. University studies greatly honed my self-learning abilities. In particular, the group assignments given by the professors helped me develop skills such as finding materials, creating slides, and giving presentations.
In my opinion, while you might not use general knowledge in your future career, it's fundamental and helps you think more logically and scientifically about all kinds of problems. Therefore, I don't underestimate the importance of studying general subjects.
I really enjoy teaching. My plan is that after taking the IELTS exam, I'll be able to work as a teaching assistant at an English center and eventually become an English teacher."
