"When I took the university entrance exam, I chose the Faculty of International Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. And that was a wise choice. Four years of studying at the University, at the Faculty of International Studies, helped satisfy my passion for exploring new lands, especially for someone who loves to travel like me.

The most lasting impression I have is of the teachers. They are incredibly dedicated, open-minded, and always willing to share with students in a relaxed manner. I deeply respect and admire Professor Hoang Khac Nam - Head of the International Studies Department. He is an idol for countless generations of students, including myself. I vividly remember his words of advice: "People only make mistakes because of two things. First, greed. Second, lack of understanding…"

I've always believed in living each day to the fullest, enjoying each day, contributing each day, and doing what I love, exploring new places to enrich my life. I don't place too much emphasis on academics or achievements. I simply view learning as a way to gain experience. Perhaps that's why I absorb knowledge quite easily.

I really enjoy participating in extracurricular activities such as volunteering, working as an interpreter, and being an exchange student at summer camp… all of these things have helped me gain more experience and become more mature.

I really like Albert Einstein's quote: "Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance, you have to keep pedaling." That's something I always keep in mind as I walk the path I've chosen..

"I'm an extrovert who loves to travel and be active. I spent all four years of my university life building up the school's dance club – the Peace Crew. Others might think that being so focused on dancing means neglecting my studies, so I had to work even harder to change that perception. As the class president, I always had to prioritize my studies and class activities.

In my opinion, a good leader is someone who understands all the members of their organization. I feel fortunate to have the trust and support of everyone during my time as class president and club leader. But I also had to strive to understand everyone and be fair in resolving internal conflicts.

My plan after graduation is to continue my studies at a higher level. My immediate goal is to pursue doctoral studies domestically, and later, if I meet the requirements, I will pursue postgraduate studies abroad. My aspiration is to be able to dedicate myself to research and teaching."

Third prize in the 2016 University-level Student Scientific Research Competition.

Certificate of Merit from the Director of Hanoi National University for students who achieved outstanding academic and training performance throughout the 2013-2017 academic year.

  • Current job: Internship at a media company.

"I really love English. My current job requires me to use English quite a lot, so I have the opportunity to apply and learn more about the language. Although it's only an internship, this job will help me gain experience to achieve my further goals. For me, being the top student is a great motivation to strive for higher education. However, that's just the first step, creating favorable conditions for me to take the next steps, not everything.

In the future, I plan to pursue a Master's degree, and once I obtain the necessary English language certificates, I will try to apply for a scholarship to study abroad in the US or Canada."
