"I started working when I was a sophomore. I worked in communications for Olympia Schools, and I also organized events for Nam Huong Company and several other organizations. Working early gave me the opportunity to gain experience and apply what my teachers taught me to real-world situations. I mainly read many international textbooks and then compared them to the situation in Vietnam.
I believe that students don't necessarily have to work in their field of study; any job can offer some benefit. Tutoring provided me with organizational and presentation skills. Business and sales honed my communication and persuasion skills – essential soft skills for graduates. My philosophy is that whatever you do, you must see it through to the end, regardless of the outcome. What matters is whether you've given your all. You have to overcome your own limitations."

"As a social work student, I've always been committed to studying so that I can help the community in the future. I've worked with GNI (Good Neighbors International) and other Korean social organizations aimed at supporting the development of people in disadvantaged areas.
My most memorable experience during my student years was probably my internship. The main activity was going to local communities to understand their difficulties and provide support. Witnessing firsthand the extremely hard lives of the people and the lack of access to a good education for the children made me constantly want to do something to help those in need. I realized that charity isn't the most effective way to help others; what's important is helping them tap into and develop their own inner strength. In the future, I will develop concrete plans and continue working for community development, as that is my passion.i”.
3. Tran Thi Huyen - Valedictorian of the Oriental Studies major.
Top-scoring student in the 2012 entrance exam for Group C subjects.
Received the Senshu Scholarship (Japan).

"During my studies at the Faculty, I acquired several essential skills. With my understanding of Japanese studies, I had many opportunities to converse with Japanese people. In addition, I participated in several Japanese language clubs, such as the Mina Club, where I introduced Vietnamese history and society to help them understand my country better.
One of my most memorable experiences was my study abroad trip to Japan (April 2015 – March 2016), sponsored by the Senshu scholarship. The trip changed my perspective significantly. Before, I always felt I had to live according to what others had to offer. Afterward, I realized I should live the way I wanted; only then could I find true happiness.
Besides my current major in Japanese Studies, I also love Marketing and hope to have the opportunity to work in this field in the future, especially to gain experience in an international environment..
