  • Current job: Marketing Staff at Phuc Thinh Pharmaceutical and Trading Joint Stock Company.

I started working when I was a sophomore. I did communications for Olympia Schools, and organized events for Nam Huong Company and several other organizations. Working early was an opportunity for me to gain experience and apply what my teachers taught to practice. I mainly read many international textbooks and then compared them with the situation in Vietnam.

I think that students do not necessarily have to work in the right field, any job will bring certain benefits. When working as a tutor, it gives me the skills to organize and present problems. Doing business and sales, you will be trained in communication skills, the ability to persuade others. Those are soft skills that students need to have when graduating. I believe that when doing anything, you must do it to the end, the result does not matter, the important thing is whether you have done your best or not. You must overcome yourself.”.

As a student of Social Work, I always keep in mind that I study so that I can help the community in the future. I used to work for GNI (Good Neighbors International) and other Korean social organizations with the aim of supporting the development of people in disadvantaged areas.

The most memorable memory of my student life was probably the time I went on an internship. The main activity of this trip was to go to the residential area to learn about the difficulties and support them. Witnessing the extremely miserable lives of the people, the children not having a good educational environment made me always want to do something to support those in difficult circumstances. I realized that charity is not the most effective way to help others, but the important thing is to help them exploit and promote their own inner strength. In the future, I will build specific plans, continue to work for the development of the community because that is the passion that I pursue.i”.

During my time studying at the Faculty, I have acquired some necessary skills. With my knowledge of Japanese studies, I have had many opportunities to talk to Japanese people. Besides, I have joined some Japanese clubs such as Mina Club, introducing Vietnamese history and society so that they can understand more about their country.

One of the most memorable memories was the study abroad trip to Japan (April 2015 – March 2016) sponsored by the Senshu scholarship. The trip changed my thinking a lot. Before, I always had to look at other people to live. After that, I felt that I should live the way I like, only then will life be happy.

In addition to the Japanese major I am pursuing, I also love Marketing, hoping that in the future I will have the opportunity to work in this field, especially having the opportunity to experience an international environment..”
