Third Prize in Student Scientific Research at School Level, 2016-2017 School Year.

I have a passion for scientific research. I have been doing student scientific research for four years and it has not been easy. The first time I did research, I suffered a heavy defeat. But when I fell down and got up, I became stronger. For the next three years, I won the school-level scientific research award.

I love and am grateful to the teachers in the department, they are my dearest people besides my family. I am especially grateful to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (lecturer of the Department of Political Science). After failing in my first scientific research, he taught me how to do a systematic research topic, starting from the smallest things. He is also the one who guides and gives me the first basic knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities. He is also very good in his behavior, always gentle with students.

After 4 years of training at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, I realized that it is important for young people to have courage, maturity and know how to behave appropriately in relationships in order to be successful.”.

5. Pham Doan Phuong - Valedictorian of Han Nom major

  • GPA: 3.67 (Excellent).
  • Achievement: Third prize in student scientific research at the Ministry level, school year 2015 - 2016.

In my opinion, creativity is an important learning method at university level. I often refer to books about mind maps and learning methods to achieve high efficiency. Reading books is one part, when applying, I have to adjust it to suit myself.

For me, Han Nom combines many different fields. When studying Han, Nom can be applied to the study of Literature, History, and ideology. Learning a lot about ideology can train the skill of being calm in life. Up to this point, this is what I feel most satisfied with.”.

Valedictorian of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 2013-2017.

I really love the subject of Art Studies, especially in the field of film studies and want to explore more about Literature. Right from my second year, I participated in scientific research with the topic of Vietnamese Literature. I have also tried many different jobs related to my major such as: writing books, writing poems, teaching skills to children, creating content for marketing activities, etc. I think I should expand my career opportunities, not just do jobs that are too safe or only in my field. That is also a way to train my courage and develop my life skills.

Currently, I am working as a content-marketing specialist for an insurance Start Up project. My immediate plan is to work and study at the same time. In the more distant future, when I have enough knowledge and experience, I will find an opportunity to study abroad to explore new horizons of knowledge. My dream is to become a teacher".
