Linguistics: Applied and Interdisciplinary

Linguistics is one of the oldest faculties of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, and is also the leading prestigious unit in the country in research and training of high-quality human resources in the field of Linguistics. In recent years, the training program of the Faculty has been adjusted and updated in an applied and interdisciplinary direction, meeting the practical needs of society. Thanks to that, the rate of graduates in Linguistics who have jobs suitable to their training majors is always over 80%. We had a conversation with Associate Professor, Dr. Trinh Cam Lan, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Linguistics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, about the training program as well as the direction of the Faculty in the present and the future.
