Vietnam Studies: Spreading Vietnamese Identity

Currently, preliminary statistics show that there are hundreds of research, training and teaching facilities for Vietnamese language and other fields related to Vietnam around the world. On average, there are dozens of international conferences on Vietnamese studies in many countries and continents each year. A community of prestigious Vietnamese scholars has been formed with professional activities and exchanges of high academic and practical nature. The field of Vietnamese studies has had steady development since the early 90s of the last century. In Vietnam, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VSL) is the leading prestigious and traditional Vietnamese studies training unit in the country, the only unit to build 02 Vietnamese studies training programs for 02 separate subjects: Vietnamese and foreigners.
